Xiaomi 15
Xiaomi is gearing up to introduce its next-generation flagship series soon. The highly anticipated Xiaomi 16 lineup has surfaced on China’s 3C certification website, revealing crucial details ahead of its expected launch. According to leaks, the new series could arrive by late September or early October in China and will likely offer powerful performance, a compact model, and blazing-fast charging capabilities.
Three new Xiaomi devices with model numbers 25098PN5AC, 2509FPN0BC, and 25113PN0EC were recently spotted on the Chinese 3C database. These listings strongly suggest support for 100W wired fast charging. Reports indicate that these model numbers correspond to the Xiaomi 16, Xiaomi 16 Pro, and a new Xiaomi 16 Pro Mini (compact phone).
Although the certification hints at three models, the Xiaomi 16 Ultra—rumored to be the high-end flagship—has not appeared in the listing yet. Market insiders believe it could be unveiled alongside the other models but might feature exclusive upgrades in terms of design and cameras.
One of the biggest attractions of the Xiaomi 16 range is likely to be the Xiaomi 16 Pro Mini. This upcoming compact phone is expected to share several specifications with the Pro model, making it a high-performance device in a smaller form factor. Such an addition could appeal to users who prefer smaller, yet powerful flagship smartphones.
As per early details,
On the camera front, both the standard and Pro models are rumored to sport a triple rear camera setup, led by a 50MP primary sensor (1/1.3-inch size). For selfies, a 50MP front camera is expected, bringing flagship-level photography for content creators and users alike.
The entire lineup is tipped to be powered by the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 processor, which has not been officially launched yet.
Battery-wise:
If leaks hold true, Xiaomi will officially debut the Xiaomi 16 Series in late September or early October 2025 in China. Following its domestic launch, the smartphones are likely to reach global markets, including India, a few weeks later.
The arrival of the Xiaomi 16 Series marks a major upgrade in Xiaomi’s flagship lineup, with bigger batteries, 100W fast charging, and the possibility of a compact flagship. With performance powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2, the series sets high expectations among smartphone fans worldwide.
