The electric vehicle (EV) revolution has just hit a massive milestone. Finnish pioneer Verge Motorcycles has stunned the automotive world at CES 2026 by unveiling a machine that seems to have come straight from the future. The Verge TS Pro has officially debuted as the world’s first production motorcycle powered by all-solid-state battery technology, setting a new benchmark for performance, safety, and efficiency.
While most current electric motorcycles rely on Lithium-ion or LFP batteries containing liquid or gel electrolytes, the Verge TS Pro breaks the mold. By utilizing solid electrolyte technology, this bike addresses the biggest concerns of EV skeptics.
This advanced battery setup significantly reduces the risk of overheating and thermal runaway, making it one of the safest high-performance bikes ever built. Solid-state batteries are lighter, more energy-dense, and represent the “Holy Grail” of future EV evolution.
One of the most frustrating aspects of electric biking has been the long wait times at charging stations. Verge has effectively solved this. The TS Pro supports CCS2 fast-charging with a capacity of up to 200kW.
Under optimal conditions with a high-power charger, this bike can juice up from 0 to 80% in a mere 10 minutes. It’s essentially as fast as grabbing a cup of coffee at a pit stop.
The Verge TS Pro caters to both city commuters and long-distance tourers with two distinct battery options:
| Battery Pack | Estimated Range |
| 20.2kWh Pack | Approx. 350 Kilometers |
| 33.3kWh Pack | Approx. 600 Kilometers |
With a 600km range, this motorcycle outclasses almost every other electric two-wheeler currently in production, effectively eliminating “range anxiety” for good.
The Verge TS Pro isn’t just about efficiency; it’s a powerhouse on the tarmac. Weighing in at approximately 235 kg, the bike delivers breathtaking acceleration, sprinting from 0 to 100 km/h in just 3.5 seconds.
To manage this immense power, Verge has integrated a sophisticated electronics suite:
Technological breakthroughs of this caliber come at a premium. The Verge TS Pro is priced at approximately €29,900 (approx. ₹31 Lakhs).
At this price point, it stands shoulder-to-shoulder with legendary high-performance petrol beasts like the Ducati Streetfighter V4. However, for riders looking for the pinnacle of green technology and futuristic design, the TS Pro is in a league of its own.
