Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold Leaks Reveal Major Specifications and Launch Details

Samsung is all set to expand its foldable smartphone lineup with a next-generation innovation — the Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold. According to recent leaks, the South Korean brand might unveil its first-ever triple-folding smartphone in early December. The model was previously showcased at the APEC 2025 event, giving a glimpse of its futuristic design and foldable structure.

Display and Design Details

Tipster Evan Blass has shared some major specifications of the Galaxy Z TriFold on X (formerly Twitter). The smartphone is expected to feature a 6.5-inch outer display with a peak brightness of 2,600 nits. On the inside, the device could sport a 10-inch internal display with 1,600 nits brightness.

In terms of build, the phone’s three “leaves” might measure 3.9mm, 4mm, and 4.2mm in thickness. This suggests that the Galaxy Z TriFold could be even thinner than the Galaxy Z Fold 7, which measures 4.2mm when unfolded.

Battery and Performance

As per the leaks, the Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold may house a 5,437mAh battery, much larger than the 4,400mAh battery on the Galaxy Z Fold 7. Another report claims the handset might even pack a 5,600mAh cell.

The smartphone is said to run on an unspecified Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset, likely a top-tier SoC for flagship performance. It is also expected to support 25W wired fast charging, Fast Wireless Charging 2.0, and Wireless PowerShare.

Camera and Other Key Features

For photography, the Galaxy Z TriFold could feature a 200-megapixel primary rear camera, indicating that Samsung aims to offer not just a foldable design but also flagship-level imaging performance.

Launch Date and Expected Price

Reports suggest that Samsung will launch the Galaxy Z TriFold on December 5, 2025, during a dedicated event where its specs and pricing will be officially revealed. The expected price is around KRW 4.4 million (approximately ₹2,66,000).

Interestingly, Samsung reportedly plans to produce only 20,000 to 30,000 units of the phone initially. Instead of focusing on high sales, the brand aims to use the Galaxy Z TriFold to demonstrate its technological leadership and reinforce its dominance in the premium smartphone market.
