Samsung’s upcoming flagship lineup — the Galaxy S26 Series — is reportedly set to make its global debut on February 25, 2026, during the Galaxy Unpacked 2026 event. The lineup is expected to include three models: Galaxy S26, Galaxy S26+, and Galaxy S26 Ultra.
While the company has not yet confirmed any details officially, several leaks and reports suggest that Samsung may finally introduce faster wireless charging support with the Galaxy S26 series.
Samsung Galaxy S26 Series To Feature Faster Wireless Charging
According to South Korean publication ETNews, the upcoming Galaxy S26 Series will support significantly faster wireless charging compared to the Galaxy S25 lineup.
The report claims that:
- Galaxy S26 Ultra will support 25W wireless charging.
- Galaxy S26+ and Galaxy S26 will come with 20W wireless fast charging support.
This marks the first major wireless charging upgrade in Samsung’s Galaxy S lineup in nearly six years. Since the Galaxy S20 Series (2020), all Galaxy S models, including this year’s S25 lineup, have offered only 15W wireless charging.
Wired Charging May Remain The Same
A recent leak also revealed that the Galaxy S26 Ultra could continue with 45W wired fast charging, while the standard Galaxy S26 may feature 25W wired charging — similar to their predecessors. This means the major charging upgrade will be seen primarily in the wireless segment.
Galaxy S26 Series Dimensions and Display Sizes Revealed
Popular tipster Ice Universe shared on X (formerly Twitter) the leaked dimensions and display sizes for all three Galaxy S26 models.
According to the leak:
- Galaxy S26 Ultra – 163.6 x 78.1 x 7.9mm
- Galaxy S26+ – 158.4 x 75.8 x 7.3mm
- Galaxy S26 – 149.4 x 71.5 x 6.9mm
In terms of display, the standard Galaxy S26 might get a slightly larger 6.3-inch screen, compared to the 6.2-inch panel on the Galaxy S25. The Galaxy S26+ and Galaxy S26 Ultra are expected to retain the same 6.7-inch and 6.9-inch displays as their predecessors.
Launch Timeline and Expected Features
Reports suggest that the Samsung Galaxy S26 Series will be unveiled globally on February 25, 2026. While Samsung has yet to make an official announcement, leaks indicate that the company aims to enhance performance, camera quality, and charging efficiency across the new lineup.
