Mahindra XUV 7XO Bookings Open at ₹21,000: Check New Features, Specs, and Detailed Variant-Wise Prices

Mahindra & Mahindra has officially commenced bookings for the highly anticipated XUV 7XO, the successor to the immensely popular XUV700. With a booking token set at ₹21,000, this new SUV is not just a name change but a significant leap in terms of technology, design, and luxury. Designed as a “Software-Defined Vehicle” (SDV), the XUV 7XO aims to redefine the premium three-row SUV segment in India.

Meta Description: Mahindra XUV 7XO bookings are now open at ₹21,000. Discover the new triple-screen cockpit, Level 2 ADAS, 19-inch alloys, and full variant-wise price list of the XUV700 successor.

Sharp and Aggressive: The New Exterior Design

The Mahindra XUV 7XO features a much more aggressive and modern stance compared to its predecessor. The front fascia is dominated by a newly styled piano-black grille with jewel-like “talon” inserts.

  • Lighting: The SUV gets revised LED projector headlamps framed by distinctive boomerang-shaped LED DRLs. At the rear, it features connected LED tail-lamps with intricate hexagonal detailing, giving it a high-tech look.
  • Wheels: New 19-inch dual-tone diamond-cut alloy wheels replace the 18-inch units from the older model, providing a more commanding road presence.
  • Profile: While the silhouette remains familiar, the redesigned bumpers and gloss-black cladding around the wheel arches add a fresh, premium touch.

Next-Gen Cabin: Triple-Screen Setup and Premium Comfort

The biggest transformation is inside the cabin. Mahindra has introduced a “Coast-to-Coast” triple-screen setup, where each display measures 12.3 inches. This includes a digital instrument cluster, a central infotainment system, and a dedicated screen for the front passenger.

  • Luxury Features: The interior follows a dual-tone brown, beige, and tan theme with soft-touch leatherette surfaces. It now includes a 6-way electrically adjustable co-driver seat with ‘Boss Mode’, ventilated seats for the first two rows, and customizable ambient lighting.
  • Audio and Tech: Music enthusiasts will appreciate the 16-speaker Harman Kardon system featuring Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision support—a first for an ICE (Internal Combustion Engine) SUV in India.
  • Convenience: The SUV comes with dual-zone climate control, a 540-degree surround-view camera, and dual wireless phone charging (front and rear).

Performance and Engine Specifications

Under the hood, the XUV 7XO retains the powerful and reliable engines from the XUV700 but with minor refinements. It also debuts the DAVINCI valve-based damping suspension for superior ride quality.

The diesel variant continues to offer an optional All-Wheel Drive (AWD) system, making it a versatile choice for both city commutes and highway tours.

Safety and Advanced Driver Assistance (ADAS)

Mahindra has upgraded the safety suite to Level 2 ADAS (Sense+). The radar range has been extended from 170m to 250m, providing better detection on Indian roads. Standard safety features include multiple airbags, Electronic Stability Program (ESP), and ISOFIX child seat mounts.
