Kawasaki Versys-X 300
Kawasaki has rolled out a fresh discount scheme for its entry-level adventure tourer, the Versys-X 300, in the Indian market. According to information from GaadiWaadi and other automobile sources, the Japanese brand is offering cash discounts along with genuine accessory benefits, making the bike significantly more affordable for touring enthusiasts. The offers are valid for a limited period and subject to stock availability.
Under the current scheme, Kawasaki is providing different benefits on the MY25 and MY26 versions of the Versys-X 300.
The MY26 model gets a direct cash discount of ₹20,000, bringing its effective ex-showroom price down to around ₹3.29 lakh. On the other hand, the MY25 version receives a higher cash discount of ₹30,000, reducing its effective price to approximately ₹3.19 lakh.
In addition to the cash discounts, Kawasaki is also offering genuine accessories, taking the total benefit value up to ₹46,000.
Customers can choose from Kawasaki’s official accessories, which are especially useful for long-distance touring. These include hard panniers with a combined capacity of 34 litres, designed for secure luggage storage, and a centre stand that improves convenience during maintenance and tyre repairs.
The panniers are lockable using the bike’s ignition key, adding an extra layer of safety for touring riders. Depending on the chosen configuration, the combined value of these accessories can go up to ₹46,000.
Despite the attractive offers, the Kawasaki Versys-X 300 remains mechanically unchanged. It continues to be powered by a 296cc parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine that produces around 40 hp of power and 26 Nm of torque. The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox.
In terms of features, the bike comes with dual-channel ABS as standard but misses out on advanced electronics such as traction control or riding modes, which are now common in this segment.
The MY25 version of the Versys-X 300 is available in two colour options, while the MY26 model is offered in a single colour scheme. Importantly, the MY26 model is E20 fuel compliant, aligning with India’s ethanol-blended fuel norms.
