iQOO has officially confirmed the launch date of its latest flagship smartphone, iQOO 15, in India. The company announced that the device will make its India debut on November 26. After making waves in China, the iQOO 15 is ready to take over the Indian smartphone market.
According to Nipun Marya, Head of iQOO India, the Indian variant will come powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, paired with LPDDR5x Ultra RAM and UFS 4.1 storage. It will also feature the Q3 Supercomputing Gaming Chip, making it a solid choice for gaming enthusiasts.
The smartphone will run on Android 16-based OriginOS 6, promising enhanced performance and smooth user experience.
The official Amazon microsite for iQOO 15 has revealed that the smartphone will be available in at least two color options in India. Initially, only the Silver color was confirmed, but now the company has added that it will also launch in Black.
In China, the flagship is available in Legendary Edition (Silver), Track Edition (Black), Lingyun (Grey), and Wilderness (Green) color variants. However, for India, only Silver and Black have been confirmed so far.
The iQOO 15 will feature a 2K resolution display with up to 144Hz refresh rate, ensuring smooth visuals and an immersive gaming experience. The device will also support Ray Tracing, enhancing graphical performance during gameplay.
To maintain thermal efficiency, the phone comes equipped with an 8000mm² single-layer vapor chamber plate, which helps keep the device cool during long gaming sessions or heavy multitasking.
While the Indian variant’s specifications are yet to be officially revealed, it is expected to feature similar hardware to its Chinese counterpart.
In China, the iQOO 15 was launched at a starting price of CNY 4,199 (approximately ₹52,000) for the base 12GB + 256GB variant. The Indian pricing is expected to be around the same range.
The smartphone will be available for purchase via Amazon India and iQOO’s official website after the launch event on November 26.
