The re-release includes the original, intended ending where Thakur kills Gabbar in a violent confrontation using spiked shoes, a scene previously cut by the censor board in 1975 due to its graphic nature. The film is celebrated for its iconic characters, dialogues, music, and themes of friendship and revenge.
